A Radcliffe AC trio took on the Stockport Daffodil 10k at the weekend. Now in its fourth year, this closed road route through Hazel Grove in Stockport offers all runners a bespoke wooden medal and a free pair of ‘Hilly’ socks – perfect motivation for taking on the hill at the end. Dominic Parry was first over the line for Radcliffe in 47:46, Helen Kay was next in 1:06:00, followed by Sara Parry who knocked almost 5 minutes from her time the previous year, finishing in 1:16:00.

Radcliffe AC runners were out in support of junior athlete Oliver at the weekend, as he marked his 50^th Parkrun at Stretford. Bagging a new personal best in the process, Oliver completed the 5km course in 25:48.
