Radcliffe Athletic Club’s Natalie Hitchen raised more than £1,000 when she completed the virtual Bolton Marathon.
She ran the challenging 26.2 mile course, which started and finished in Queens Park, in aid of Bolton Hospice.
The hilly route with around 1,914ft of ascent also takes in Daubhill, Lostock, Doffcocker, Astley Bridge, Bromley Cross, South Turton, Darcy Lever, Breightmet, Little Lever and Farnworth.
The Bolton Marathon was due to take place on May 16 but had to be held as a virtual event due to coronavirus restrictions.
Hitchen was accompanied by friends and fellow runners for different sections of the course and finished in 5:20:34.
It was her second marathon and she said: “It was good but tough and very hilly!”
