Three Radcliffe AC runners took to the Saddleworth hills for the popular Cake Race.
The 10-mile course with 1,700ft of climbing is the first race in this year’s Run the Moors Fell Grand Prix.
Neil Greenhalgh was first home for the club in 1.33:23 followed by Julie Robertson who ran 1.41:30 and John Wrigley in 1.42:16.
Rob Shiels was fifth Vet-45 and 33rd overall when he clocked 41:35 in the well-organised Run Media City 10K in Salford.
Away from racing, John Mcnicoll walked the 268-mile Pennine Way from Edale in Derbyshire to Kirk Yetholm in the Scottish borders in 13 days.
He finished the challenge despite slipping on a stile and bruising his ribs.
Mcnicoll carried all his own equipment and combined wild camping with stays in camp sites and youth hostels.
