Two Radcliffe Athletic Club runners were in long-distance action in the Lake District.

Neil Greenhalgh was pleased with his time of 4:14:06 in the Lakeland Trails Marathon.

Billed as “the most scenic trail marathon in Britain”, the course was a lap of Coniston Water. Greenhalgh finished 49th out of a field of 221 runners.

Sarah Jackson also enjoyed beautiful views at the 20-mile Montane Trail Ullswater Way. She completed the lap of Ullswater in 7:18:48.

Lee Cooper finished the Leeds Triathlon in 2:44:08. It consisted of a 1.5k swim, a 36.2k bike ride and a 10k run.

Julie Robertson was second Vet-50 when she clocked 46:50 in the Heaton Park Chase the Sun 10k.

A week after walking the Pennine Way, John Mcnicoll completed the national three Peaks Challenge climbing the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon – in less than 24 hours.
