Donna Cartwright flew the flag for Radcliffe Athletic Club at the Blencathra English Championships Fell Race.
In her first fell race since breaking her ankle on a hill race three years ago, and her first race of any kind in 18 months, she was pleased to finish fourth F40.
She completed the 8.1-mile Lake District course with 2,707ft of climbing in 1:36:03 and said: “It was a bit of a shock to the system but great to be back in the mountains.”
Three Radcliffe runners also took to the hills closer to home in Eddies Revenge Fell Race, the second race in this year’s Run The Moors Fell Grand Prix.
Covering 3.8 miles and climbing 1,060 feet from Shaw in Oldham, Chris Paxton was first home for the club in 33:41. Julie Robertson was second F50 in 37:57 and Kathryn Davies ran 45:40.
Jenny Yates notched up her latest win when she clocked 20:41 to finish first F55 at the Sale Sizzler 5k.
Four club members also took part in the 5K Bolton Night Run, part of the Bolton Ironman Weekend. Craig Ward ran 25:11, followed by Grace Williams in 25.29 and Natalie Hitchen and Sarah Ruston in 31.29.
Vince Ashton ran 29:50 at Waterworks Parkrun in Belfast, his 194th parkrun and his 96th different one.
